How to Reap the Rewards of Laylat Al-Qadr

By Prof. Lateefah bint ‘Abdullah Al-Jal‘ood

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Almighty, Who enjoined fasting of this month and legislated offering voluntary prayer during its nights. Peace and blessing of Allah be upon the best of His creation; Prophet Muhammad who never left a way of goodness except he guided his nation to it. It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever observes fasting during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain the reward of Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (1).

It was also narrated on the authority of him, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs voluntary prayers during the night of Ramadan with faith and in hope of a reward from Allah, his past sins will be forgiven." (2).

It is really a great deprivation to see many Muslims spend such precious times and unique opportunity in vain matters and when the time of offering voluntary prayer during night becomes due, they have different conditions:

A-          Sleeping

B-          Spending evening in conversation and committing backbiting of their fellow Muslims.

C-          Spending their times in committing sins like watching obscene satellite channels, watching films and serials of Ramadan as they used to call it. Ramadan never has films or serials that have mixture of men and women, music and even more heinous things than this.

Therefore, we should renew our intention in this month for this is really a great opportunity for us for the following reasons:

A-          The rebellious devils are chained up as it was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, in a Marfoo‘ (i.e. traceable) Hadeeth that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month which Allah has enjoined you to fast, during which the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained up. In it there is a night which is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.” (3).

B-          The spiritual eagerness to do good deeds in this month the thing that one cannot do in other months.

C-          Observing fast during the day of Ramadan prevents one from committing many sins.

If we really assume that this Ramadan will be the last month that we will fast, repentance will be very easy for us. How many people died before reaching it! However, Allah, The Almighty, made us reach it and thus let us supplicate Him to help us observe fasting and offering voluntary prayer during its nights.

Comparison between our ages and that of the past nations:

It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The lifespan of my nation is between sixty to seventy, and the least of them are those who surpass that.” (4).

The ages of the people in the past nations were hundreds of years. Here is Noah, may Allah exalt his mention, who remained among his people a thousand years minus fifty years calling them to worship Allah, The Almighty, alone.

It was also reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "We (Muslims) are the last in the world, but will be foremost on the Day of Resurrection."

How can we be the foremost while we have shorter ages? This can be done by investing the opportunities and compete each others as people compete about jobs, enrollment in universities as well as offers in supermarkets.

Amongst the greatest of these opportunities is striving to reap the rewards of the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan and if this is not possible, then at least the odd-numbered nights 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th. That is because Laylat Al-Qadr will never miss to be in such nights as it was narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."

Unless there is a disagreement among the countries of the Islamic world regarding the advent of Ramadan, then one should strive hard with good deeds in all last ten nights to be in the safe side.

Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.} [Quran 97: 3]

It starts from the moments of the call of Maghrib prayer to the call of Fajr which in most cases does not exceed 12 hours.

How many years does the Night of Al-Qadr equal to? It is more than eighty-three years. If one strives very hard in such night that no one should miss by offering voluntary prayer during the last ten nights and making the best use of every night such as our role model and beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers."

Let us count the age of one of us who was keen on offering voluntary prayer in the odd-numbered nights for ten years, this will equal more than 830 years, by the permission of Allah, The Almighty, and if one lives twenty years after the age of puberty and was one of those who used to strive hard in all of such last ten nights, then this would be better than 1660 years, by the permission of Allah, The Almighty. In this way, we can be the foremost on the Day of Resurrection because of investing best opportunities that were available for the previous nations of Jews and Christians.

Therefore, whenever this month comes, one should supplicate Allah, The Almighty, to help and guide him to observe voluntary prayer during the Night of Al-Qadr for whomever Allah, The Almighty, helps will be the successful and whomever Allah, The Almighty, forsakes will be the failure.

What shall one do in this Night?

-   One should prepare himself well for it from the dawn. After Fajr prayer, be keen on reciting the Athkaar (i.e. Remembrance of Allah) of morning and amongst them is to say: "Laa 'Ilaaha 'Illa Allaahu Wahdahu La Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Wahuwa A'la Kulli Shay'iin Qadeer (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Alone, without partners, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things Omnipotent] on hundred times).

But why? That is because  it was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever says "Laa 'Ilaaha I'lla Allaahu Wahdahu La Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Wahuwa A'la Kulli Shay'iin Qadeer" a hundred time on a day, he will have reward equal to that of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be written for him, and one hundred of his sins will be lifted from him, and he will be protected (from the devil) on that day until the evening. No one does anything more excellent than what he does except someone who does more than that." (5).

The point of citation here is: "…and he will be protected from the devil on that day until the evening…" so that devil may not affect you and derive you away from worship.

-   Strive to give good for fasting people to break their fast with it, whether by inviting them, sending food for them, or paying money for them to break their fast. In this way, you get the reward of fasting of the blessed month of Ramadan two times if you give food for fasting people since the advent of the month until its end. That is because it was narrated from Zayd ibn Khaalid Al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, The Almighty, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” (6).

-   At the time of sunset, supplicate Allah, The Almighty, also to help and guide you to spend the night of Al-Qadr in voluntary prayer.

-   Prepare your charity for this night out of the last ten nights. Try to save some money throughout the whole year to spend it in this blessed night and thus never miss any of the odd-numbered nights unless you give charity in it. That is because if Allah, The Almighty, accepts from you one dollar in this night, this may equal three thousand dollars or one hundred dollars will be equal more than three hundred thousand dollars and the like. It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If somebody gives in charity something equal to a date from his honestly earned money - for nothing ascends to Allah except good - then Allah will take it in His Right (Hand) and bring it up for its owner as anyone of you brings up a baby horse, till it becomes like a mountain." (7).

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, also said: "A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked, "O Allah's Messenger! Which charity is the most superior in reward?" He, peace and blessings be upon him, replied, "The charity which you practice while you are healthy, niggardly and afraid of poverty and wish to become wealthy. Do not delay it to the time of approaching death and then say, 'Give so much to such and such, and so much to such and such.' And it has already belonged to such and such (as it is too late)." (8).

Reward will be even greater if one hides his charity for he will be included, by the permission of Allah, The Almighty, among the seven people who will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His for it was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His ....” He, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned the rest of the Hadeeth, which says, “and a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity), and a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes become tearful." (9).

-   When the sun sets, strive hard to observe obligatory and supererogatory acts of worship for example when the Athaan (call to prayer) is recited repeat after the Mu'ath-thin and then say: 'Wa ana Ash-hadu an La Ilaha Illallah Wahdahu La Sharika Lahu, wa Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘Abduhu wa Rasuluhu, Radaytu Billahi Rabban wa Bil-Islami Dinan wa bi Muhammadin Nabiyyan (And I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet)' his sins will be forgiven to him" as it was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a Marfoo‘ Hadeeth. (10).

Then say: ‘Allaahummah Rabba haathihi’l-da’wat it-taammah wa’s-salaat il-qaa’imah, aati Muhammadan al-waseelata wa’l-fadeelah, wab’athhu maqaaman mahmoodan alladhi wa’adtahu (O Allah, Lord of this perfect Call and the Prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that You have promised), will be granted my intercession on the Day of Resurrection.”

For it was narrated on the authority of Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever says when he hears the call to prayer, ‘Allaahummah Rabba Haadhihi’l-da’wat it-taammah wa’s-salaat il-qaa’imah, aati Muhammadan al-waseelata wa’l-fadeelah, wab’athhu maqaaman mahmoodan alladhi wa’adtahu (O Allah, Lord of this perfect Call and the Prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that You have promised), will be granted my intercession on the Day of Resurrection.” (11).

-   Then hasten to break your fast, hoping to attain reward from Allah, The Almighty. Break your fast on ripe dates, hoping also to attain reward from Allah, The Almighty and do not forget to supplicate Allah, The Almighty, in such moments: make your supplication includes: O Allah help and guide me to spent the Night of Al-Qadr in prayer and then perform ablution according to the way of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and hasten to perform supererogatory prayer between Athaan and Iqaamah. That is because it was narrated that Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "When the Mu'ath-thin pronounced the Athaan, some of the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would proceed to the pillars of the mosque (for the prayer) till the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived and in this way they used to pray two Rak‘at before the Maghrib prayer. There used to be a little time between the Athaan and the Iqamaah." (12).

Then when you stand to pray, pray like a man bidding farewell (13) and fill it with submissiveness and tranquility.

Then recite the Athkaar of prayer and then offer the regular supererogatory prayer and then recite the Athkaar of the evening if you did not recite them during afternoon. Amongst them are: "Laa 'Ilaaha I'lla Allaahu Wahdahu La Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Wahuwa A'la Kulli Shay'iin Qadeer" hundred times so that you may be protected (from the devil) on that day until the evening as we have previously mentioned. Then try to do different acts of worship.

-   Never stop saying: "Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwa fa’affu ‘anni (O Allah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me)."

-   If your parents are alive, try to be dutiful to them, do good deeds toward them, fulfill their needs and have your breakfast with them.

-   Then hasten to go to the mosque before the Athaan so that you may offer the supererogatory prayer of entering the mosque. Prepare yourself to be away from the worldly life and its engagements so that you may be submissive in your prayer. Then if the Athaan is recited, repeat it and recite the Athkaar and then offer supererogatory prayer and then remember Allah, The Almighty, until Iqamaah was recited and recite in the Noble Quran and know that you are in prayer as long as you are waiting for prayer for it was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "As long as any-one of you is waiting for the prayer, he is considered to be praying actually, and the angels say, 'O Allah! Be merciful to him and forgive him', (and go on saying so) unless he leaves his place of praying or passes wind (i.e. breaks his ablution)." (14).

-   If the prayer is established, offer it in submissiveness and whenever the Imam recites a verse, contemplate it and try to concentrate the words of your Lord until the Imam leaves.

-   Then return to your house and do not make this is the end of prayer until Qiyaam Al-Layl. Rather, make a great deal of the acts of worship whether of prayer or the like.

-   Do not forget, before going out of the mosque, to give the charity of this night and if it is difficult for you to give a charity every night during the last ten nights, then you can give all of your charities before Ramadan or before the last ten nights to a charitable organization that can spend a part of it at every night in the last ten night.

-   Do not forget to make your tongue moist of remembering Allah, The Almighty, at your go and fro from the mosque and never forget to recite Sayyid Al-Istighfaar (the most superior way of asking for forgiveness), which is: “Allaahumma Anta Rabbee laa ilaah illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wad’ika maa asta’tu, a’oodhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu aboo’u laka bi ni’matika ‘alayya wa aboo’u laka bi dhanbi, faghfir li fa innahu laa yaghfir al-dhunoob illa anta (O Allah, you are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says this during the day or at night then dies on this day or night, will be one of the people of Paradise.” (15).

Also, remember to recite Tahleel (reciting Laa ilaaha ill-Allah), Tasbeeh (reciting Subhaan Allah), Tahmeed (reciting Alhamdulillah Allah), Takbeer (reciting Allahu Akbar)and Hawqalah (reciting La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah)for it was narrated on the authority of Abu Sa‘eed Al-Khudari, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Recite great deal of Al-Baqiyaat As-Salihaat." It was said: ‘What are they, O Messenger of Allah! He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "They are: Subhaan Allah, Al-Hamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar and La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (Hawqala)." (16).

Then, ask Allah to send His peace and blessings upon our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then ask Him to grant you the goodness of this life and Hereafter. If you enter your house, ask about the needs of those who are in the house whether your parents, wife, brothers and sisters or your children and serve them with all pleasure and hoping for attaining reward from Allah, The Almighty. Invest the time of serving them by reciting the Noble Quran from your memory by reciting: "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad (Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One." As it was reported on the authority of Abu Ad-Dardaa', may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Is any one of you incapable of reciting a third of the Quran in a night?" They (the Companions) asked: "How could one recite a third of the Quran (in a night)?" Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: "Qul huwa Allahu ahad (Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One" (Quran 111) is equivalent to a third of the Quran." (17).

Accordingly, if one recites it three times, then one will get the reward of reciting the whole Noble Quran. This does not mean to desert the remaining part of the Noble Quran; however, every situation is to be dealt in the manner that is appropriate to it.

Then recite: Qul ya ayyuha alkafiroon (Say, "O disbelievers,) for it is equal to one-fourth of the Noble Quran in reward. (18).

Then, recite Ayat Al-Kursi which is the greatest verse in the Noble Book of Allah, the Almighty, as was reported from Sa‘eed ibn Mansoor in his Sunan as it was expressed by ‘Abdullah to be Marfoo‘ (traceable) Hadeeth.

Then say: "Laa 'Ilaaha I'lla Allaahu Wahdahu La Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Wahuwa A'la Kulli Shay'iin Qadeer" hundred times on a day so that you may have reward equal to that of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be written for him, and one hundred of his sins will be lifted from him, and he will be protected (from the devil) on that day until the evening. No one does anything more excellent than what he does except someone who does more than that.

Strive hard to recite the Athkaar that are of great rewards and authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as he, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his uncle: "Would you like to tell you what is more and better than your Praise Allah whole the night and the day is to say: "Alhamdu lillah (Praises be to Allah) as the number of what Allah created, Alhamdu lillah (Praises be to Allah) fill what Allah created, Alhamdu lillah (Praises be to Allah) as the number of what in the earth and the sky, Alhamdu lillah (Praises be to Allah) as the number of what His book counted, Alhamdu lillah (Praises be to Allah) fill what his book counted, Alhamdu lillah (Praises be to Allah) as the number of every things, and to say Subhaan Allah (Glory be to Allah) in the same way. He, peace and blessings be upon him, added: "Learn them and teach them to your offspring after you." (19).

It was narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says, 'Subhaan Allah wa bihamdihi (Glory is to Allah and with His Praise),' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea." (20).

It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever says in the morning and in the evening ‘Subhaan Allah, wa bihamdih (Glory is to Allah and with His Praise)’ a hundred times, none shall bring better than him on the Day of Judgment except one who did the same as him, or increased upon it.” (21).

In some other narrations, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Glory is to Allah, The Great and with His Praise (Subhaan Allah Al-‘Atheem, wa bihamdih) a hundred times." (22).

Whenever the expiation or forgiveness is mentioned, it refers to the minor sins. As for the major sins, one should repent from them. However, if this major sin is related to the rights of humans, then one has to ask them for forgiveness along with repentance or they will take from his good deeds on the Day of Resurrection. That is because it was narrated on the authority Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He who has done a wrong affecting his brother's honour or anything else, let him ask his forgiveness today before the time (i.e., the Day of Resurrection) when he will have neither a dinar nor a dirham. If he has done some good deeds, a portion equal to his wrong doings will be subtracted from them; but if he has no good deeds, he will be burdened with the evil deeds of the one he had wronged in the same proportion." (23).

Do not be deceived by what some may circulate that the expiation of backbiting is just asking forgiveness for people whom you did backbiting because the Hadeeth states this is very weak and even contradicts the previous sound Hadeeth. Amongst the greatest rights of humans are backbiting, talebearing, mockery, disdaining, insulting, and perjury.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The five daily (prescribed) Salat, and Friday (prayer) to the next Friday (prayer), and the fasting of Ramadan to the next Ramadan, is expiation of the sins committed in between them, so long as major sins are avoided." (24).

-   If you finish fulfilling the needs of them all and doing all physical deeds, try to have a special sitting with the Book of your Lord to recite it. Strive to have two recitations in the blessed month of Ramadan. One is fast 'Al-Hadr' and the other with deep contemplation along with Tafseer (i.e.  Exegesis) in case if you do not understand a verse. It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with them, said: “If I were to recite only one Surah with Tadabbur (deep contemplation), this would be more beloved to me than to recite the entire Quran (i.e. without Tadabbur)."

If your body became tired, throw it on bed while remembering your Lord with Tahleel, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, Hawqalah, Takbeer, Istighfaar (seeking forgiveness by reciting Astaghfar Allah) and sending peace and blessings upon our honorable Messenger.

-   If you fall asleep, you will be rewarded, by the permission of Allah, The Almighty, then wake up to offer voluntary prayer in the mosque. Try to have an hour you spend in seclusion with your Lord before dawn and contemplate well the greatness of His creation, His countless blessing over you no matter difficulty or hardship you are in for you are in a better condition than those who suffer greater hardship as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Look at those who are inferior to you and do not look at those who are superior to you, for this will keep you from belittling Allah's Favour to you." (25).

-   Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures – death so that your eyes may give tears and thus be one of the seven people who will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "…A man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes become tearful." (26).

-   Remember what was reported on the authority of that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Jibreel, may Allah exalt his mention, came to me and said, ‘O Muhammad! Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and then dies and is not forgiven (since he missed the opportunities to be forgiven in Ramadan) and is made to enter the Hellfire, then may Allah distance him!  Say Aameen.’ So I said: ‘Aameen.’ (27).

By Allah, such ten days are great bounty and this month implies sublime opportunities and seasons that if one does not invest them properly, then they go and never return.

-   Finally and before Fajr prayer, one should take his Suhur (i.e. predawn meal) even with water, hoping to attain reward from Allah, The Almighty, for acting according to Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. That is because it was narrated on the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Take Suhur as there is a blessing in it." (28).

Here we should draw attention to some mistakes that may occur. Amongst them are:

1- Some may circulate in the 23rd or 25th that so and so had a vision that indicates that Laylat Al-Qadr was 21st or 23rd night, what will the lazy people do?  They will stop doing good deeds at the remaining nights of the ten nights to the extent that some of those who are in Makkah return, Why then? That is because Laylat Al-Qadr ended according to him. This implies really fatal mistakes. Amongst them are: this may be a dream not a vision, those who interpret it as being 21st or 23rd night it is not necessary that he interpreted it right. Here is Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, interpreted a vision before the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You are right in some of it and wrong in some." (29) If Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, who is the best human being after the Prophets, may Allah exalt his mention, and he interprets right and wrong, how about others than him? I think this is a form of deceptions of devil so that he may turns believers away from doing good deeds on the remaining nights of the ten. Allah knows best.

In conclusion, days are limited, lifespan is short and death comes when it is least expected and one does not know whether he will reach this blessed month of Ramadan again or not, and if one reach it, he may complete it or not and if one completes it, it may be the last Ramadan in his life.

One goes out from his house free from any sickness while shortly the news of his death comes to his family. Another wears clothes while he does not know will he take them off or be taken off from him?

Because of all such things we should recall such great blessing of reaching the blessed month of Ramadan, guided to fasting, spending its nights in voluntary prayer and doing other good deeds. How many people died before reaching this blessed month! How many sick persons whom the month of Ramadan passed over them like any other months! How many disobedient persons diverted from the right path and get nothing from Ramadan except great loss! However, Allah, The Almighty, helped and guided you to observe fasting and offering voluntary prayer during its nights and thus ones should praise Allah, The Almighty, for such great grace and invest it in the best way.

You actually make it appear so easy together with your presentation however I to find
this matter to be really one thing which I feel I might never understand.
It sort of feels too complicated and very wide for me.

I am taking a look forward for your next submit, I will attempt to get the grasp of
it!

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme
of this blog. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times
it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and
appearance. I must say you've done a superb job
with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for
me on Internet explorer. Excellent Blog!

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?

My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no back up.
Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers?

Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform
you're working with? I'm looking to start my own blog in the
near future but I'm having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for
something completely unique. P.S My apologies for
