(3) Allah, The Almighty, says (to prophet Muhammad): “(How did I raise high for you your repute?...) The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah, The Almighty, knows best. He, The Exalted, says: "Whenever I am mentioned you are mentioned.”’

The Verification of the Hadeeth: Its Isnaad (chain of transmission) is very weak.

It was reported by Ibn Jareer At-Tabari in his Tafseer (8/712) from the route of Darraaj Abi As-Samh from Abi Al-Haytham from Abi Sa‘eed Al-Khudri, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Jibreel (Gabriel), may Allah exalt his mention, came to me and said: My and your Lord says: and mentioned the above Hadeeth.'

From the route of Darraaj Abi As-Samh, it was also reported by Ibn Hibaan (3451), Abu Ya‘la Al-Mawsli (1380), Al-Ajuri in Ash-Sharee‘ah (1/396), Al-Khallaal in As-Sunnah (318) and Ibn An-Najaar in Thayl Taarieekh Baghdaad (1/98).

Its Isnaad is very weak because it has Darraaj Abi As-Samh who is weak, especially in reporting from Abi Al-Haytham and this Hadeeth from it. An-Nasaa'i said: 'His Hadeeth is Munkar (1). Ad-Daarqutni said: "His Hadeeth is Matrook (2). Abu Haatim and a group of scholars deemed it weak (3).

Accordingly, this Hadeeth is very weak and refer to As-Silsilah Adh-Dha‘eefah (1746) and Dha‘eef Al-Jaami‘ (1084).
