(11): It was narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:"If the slave says: 'O my Lord, O my Lord, Allah, The Almighty, will say: 'Here I am, ask me and I shall give you." 

The Verification of the Hadeeth: Its Isnaad (i.e. chain of transmission) is very weak.

It was reported by Ibn Abi Ad-Dunya in Ad-Du‘aa' as in Al-Jaami‘ Al-Kabeer (2445) from the route of Al-Hakam ibn Sa‘eed Al-Umawi from Hishaam ibn ‘Urwah from his father from ‘Aa’ishah, may Allaah be pleased with her. It was also reported from the route of Al-Hakam ibn Sa‘eed by Al-Bazaar as in Kashf Al-Astaar (3145), Ibn Shaheen in At-Targheeb fi Fadhaa'il Al-‘Amaal (146), and Ibn ‘Asaakir in Ta'reekh Dimashq (51/165).

Its Isnaad is very weak due to Al-Hakam ibn Sa‘eed Al-Umawi. Imam Al-Bukhaai, Al-Azdi and Ibn ‘Adyy, may Allaah have mercy upon them, said: "His Hadeeth is Munkar ."

Ibn Hibaan said: "He is one of those whose mistakes are fatal and illusions are many and this makes his Hadeeths Munkar and thus it cannot be used as a proof. (1)"

Accordingly, the Hadeeth has a very weak chain of transmission. Al-Haythami said in Al-Majma‘ (10/159): "It was reported by Al-Bazzaar and its chain of transmission includes Al-Hakam ibn Sa‘eed Al-Umawi who is weak."
