14- It was narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When the night of ‘nisf Sha‘baan’ (mid-Sha‘baan) comes, a caller announces: 'Is there no one who will ask Me for forgiveness, that I may forgive him? Is there no one who will ask Me for something, that I may give it to him? No one will ask for something (good) but he will be given it other than an adulteress or Mushrik (i.e. polytheist)."'

The Verification of the Hadeeth: Its Isnaad (i.e. chain of transmission) is weak.

It was reported by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu‘ab Al-Emaan (3676) from the route of Jaami‘ ibn Sabeeh Ar-Ramli from Marhoom ibn ‘Abdel Azeez from Daawood ibn ‘Abdur-Rahmaan from Hishaam ibn Hassaan from Al-Hasan from ‘Uthmaan ibn Abi Al-‘Aas, may Allaah be pleased with him, as a Marfoo‘  Hadeeth.

It was also reported from the route of Jaami‘ ibn Sabeeh Ar-Ramli by Al-Bayhaqi in Fadhaa'il Al-Awqaat (27), Al-Hasn Al-Khilaal in Al-Majaalis Al-‘Asharah (1/5), Al-Kharaa'idi in Masaawi' Al-Akhlaaq (467). Its Isnaad is weak because its chain of narrators has Jaami‘ ibn Sabeeh Ar-Ramli. Al-Azdi (1) deemed him weak. Refer to Lataa'if Al-Ma‘aarif (1/151) and Dha‘eef Al-Jaami‘ (653).
