(15): It was narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A sealed record of deeds will be brought before Allah, The Almighty, on the Judgment Day. He will say to the angels, “Accept this and reject this.” Angels will say, “O Lord. By Your Might, we do not see except good.” He, The Almighty, will say, and He knows best, “It was for other than Me; and today, I shall not accept any of the deeds except that which was carried out for My approval.”

The Verification of the Hadeeth: Its Isnaad (i.e. chain of transmission) is weak.

It was reported by Ad-Daarqutuni in his Sunan (135), from the route of Al-Haarith ibn Ghassaan from Abi ‘Imraan Al-Jawni from Anas ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him, as a Marfoo‘  Hadeeth.

It was also reported from the route of Al-Haarith ibn Ghassaan by Al-‘Uqayli in Adh-Dh‘faa' Al-Kabeer (350), Ibn ‘Asaakir in Ta'reekh Dimashq (55/184), Abu Ash-Shaykh Al-Asbahaani in At-Tawbeekh (154) and Ash-Shajari in his book Amaali (1/433) Abu At-Taahir As-Salafi in Mu‘jam As-Safr (1/110), Ad-Daylami in Musnad Al-Fardoos (985), Simawiyyah as in Al-Jaami‘ Al-Kabeer (2654) and its chain of transmission has Al-Haarith ibn Ghassaan who is unknowns as in Al-Jarh wat Ta‘deel (3/85).

It was also reported by At-Tabaraani in his book Al-Awsat (2704) from the route of Al-Haarith ibn ‘Ubayd Abu Qudaamah from Abi ‘Imraan Al-Juawni from Anas ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him, and it is also weak because of Al-Haarith ibn ‘Ubayd about whom Al-Haafith, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said in At-Taqreeb (1033): "He is truthful but makes mistakes."

 Refer to As-Silsilah Adh-Dha‘eefah (2672) and Dha‘eef Al-Jaami‘ (660).
