(26) It was narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Indeed, repentance removes sin, good deeds do away with misdeeds, if the slave remembers his Lord in time of ease, He, The Exalted, will save him in the time of affliction. That is because Allah, The Almighty, says: "I will never combine two securities for my slave nor will I combine two fears for him. If he feels safe from Me in Dunia (worldly life), he shall fear Me in a day when I will gather all my slaves together in the area of Al-Qudus. Thus, his safety will be eternal and I never include him among those who will be punished."

The Verification of the Hadeeth: Its Isnaad (i.e. chain of transmission) is fabricated.

It was reported by Abu Na‘eem in Al-Hilyah (6/98), Al-Lalaa'iki in Sharh ‘Usool I‘iqaad Ahl As-Sunrinah wal Jamaa'ah (7085) from the route of ‘Umar ibn Subh from Thawr ibn Yazeed from Makhool from Shaddaad ibn Aws, may Allaah be pleased with him.

It is a fabricated Hadeeth because of ‘Umar ibn Subh At-Tameemi is accused and about whom Ibn Hibbaan said: "He used to fabricate Hadeeth." Ad-Daarqutuni said: "His Hadeeth is Matrook ." Abu Haatim and Ibn ‘Adyy said: "His Hadeeth is Munkar ."

Al-Azdy deemed him liar and Thahabi said: "He is not trustworthy or reliable."

Al-Haafith, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said in At-Taqreeb: "His Hadeeth is Matrook and Ibn Rahawiyyah deemed him liar ." (1).

Refer to As-Silsilah Adh-Dha‘eefah (2986) and Dha‘eef Al-Jaami‘ (1426).
