1- Ignorance of the Unique Characteristics and Miracles of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
Amongst the forms of scientific and educational negligence practice towards the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the ignorance of the unique characteristics and miracles that Allah, The Almighty, has singled out His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, with. This is should be actually taken into consideration by educated people before others. One should also know the difference among the unique characteristics, attributes, miracles, Karamaat. Karamaat are what Allah, The Almighty, bestows blessings over its origin such as multiplying food and Istisqaa (prayer for rain) or what Allah, The Almighty, cause to occur of the extraordinary events that humans nor jinn can do and thus make them appear on the hands of his worshipers without a previous rule.
Karamaat do not appear except on the hand of the one who is inwardly and outwardly upright and adheres firmly to the right path. They may also occur to some other people but not permanently. As for the miracles, they only occur to the Prophets, may Allah exalt their mention, as a form of a proof (of their prophethood) and challenge (for their people). They occur in a permanent way to challenge people and are not a form of extraordinary events . As for the unique characteristics, they are the rulings which Allah, The Almighty, has singled his Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with such as having more than four wives and fighting in the Makki sacred area. As for the attributes, they are the noble manners that are the main pillars of the life of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, such as forgiveness, pardoning, mercy and kindness.
2- Introducing Bida‘h to the Religion:
Negligence even gets worse when one diverts away from the proper path of religion and right to adopt the way of introducing innovations to religion and behave like deviant people who glorify the sheikhs of Sufi approaches and raise them above the status of the Prophets, may Allah exalted their mention, with what they have of the devilish condition and fragile extraordinary events, or exaggerating the exaltation of the Awliyaa’ whom are believed to be like so. They also praise them in their lives, glorify them after their death, seek their help besides Allah, The Almighty, make vows to them, slaughter sacrifices in their names, circumambulate around their graves and build over them. This is the Shirk (i.e. polytheism) for which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was sent to abolish, destroy and establish the great construction of Tawheed on earth and on the hearts of the people. Consequently, Allah, The Almighty, has established His religion, supported His worshipers and honored His believing soldiers. Allah, The Almighty, furthermore, was pleased with removing the signs of Shirk and idols of the pre-Islamic era when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, hitting and destroying them with his own hands saying (as Allah, The Almighty, says on his behalf): {And say, “Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart.”} [Quran 17: 81]
Allah, The Almighty, also says (what means): {“The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it].”} [Quran 34: 49]
He, The Exalted, says (what means): {Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims."} [Quran 6: 162-163]
It is very clear for every sane person who is guided by the light of the Sharee‘ah (i.e. Islamic divine laws) that circumambulating around graves and shrines, staying besides them, asking the dead to fulfill one’s needs and curing the sick, and seeking the help of Allah, The Almighty, with them or with their honor and status are all newly invented in religion. We all know that the prescribed circumambulation is only done around Ka‘bah and that bringing benefit and causing harm is only in hand of Allah, The Almighty, alone as it was stated in the Noble Quran, honorable Sunnah and Ijmaa‘(Muslim scholars consensus). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has conveyed the revelation which was sent down on him from the heaven as it was stated in the Surah of Al-Jinn, adhering firmly to what he is commanded with. Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. But [I have for you] only notification from Allah, and His messages…} [Quran 72: 21-23]
This is for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, how about others than him?
Actually, this is the criterion that distinguishes the people of sound faith from others. Subsequently, whoever directs any form of glorification to any creature, then this is a form of lessening the exaltation of the Creator, the Most Exalted and Glorified. Any form of submissiveness done for the sake of the creatures is really weakness and ignorance for this is actually a form of humiliation and thus we have to beware of it.
