1- Reading Much of the Prophetic Biography, contemplating it and benefiting from it and remembering the circumstances, words, actions, striving of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his formation of the Islamic community without limiting himself to boundaries whether in Makkah or Medina, Taa'if or Habasah, Yamen or Najd or other places and disseminating Islam without confining himself to certain time or race. Rather, one should do more than this. It is not something difficult for one to gather others while reading the biography of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whether from the members of his family and his friends in lessons and lectures. All people should learn such honorable biography. Actually such biography implies great lessons and enjoyment. Also, one should read great deal of the biography of the companions, may Allaah be pleased with them, for it speaks about their lives that were dedicated for the religion and the greatest Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. One should be keen in having a share of look at the biography of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and that of the companions, may Allaah be pleased with them, who sacrificed every valuable thing for the Sake of Allah, The Almighty so that Allah, The Almighty, may establish in our hearts what He, The Almighty, established in their hearts. It is really a sufficient honor to live the same as they had lived.

Shaqeeq Al-Balkhi narrated that Ibn Al-Mubaarak, may Allaah have mercy upon him, was asked: "Why do not you sit with us after finishing prayer? He replied: I sit with the companions and their followers, looking at their books and narrations. What should I do with you? You sit backbiting people."

We have friends whom we never get annoyed of their talks, they are intelligent and trustworthy in absence and presence.

They benefit us with their knowledge, they teach us forbearance, good manners, and sound opinions.

Amongst the books that one should read and contemplate thoughtfully is As-Seerah An-Nabawiyyah As-Saheehah which is well verified by Akram Dhiyaa’ Al-‘Umari, Hatha Al-Habeeb, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, Ya Muhib by Abu Bakr Al-Jazaairi, Ar-Raqheeq Al-Makhtoom by Al-Mubarakfuri, Mukhtasar Seerat Ar-Rasool, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, by Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdel Wahaab, may Allaah have mercy upon him, and Tahtheeb Seerat Ar-Rasool, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, by Ibn Hishaam, by Abd As-Salaam Haroon. There are still many for those who seek further reading.  Also, we recommended knowledge seekers to well read, study and discuss the book Ash-Shifaa Bita‘reef Huqooq Al-Mustafa, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, by Qaadhi ‘Iyaadh.

2- Defending the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and confronting the evil, hypocrite and defeated orientalists and westernized people who spread their poisons in mass media and different means of communications, harming the believers, fighting Allah, The Almighty, His religion and His devoted worshipers. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entrusted some of his companions to defend him against the disbelievers although Allah, The Almighty, took upon himself to guard him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Who turns them away, from us will attain Paradise."

Moreover, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abu Qataadah, may Allaah be pleased with him, when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was about to fall thrice while he was sleeping and Abu Qataadah used to support him so that he may not fall: "May Allah protect you, as you have protected His Apostle (from falling down)."

He, peace and blessings be upon him, also said to Hassaan ibn Thaabit, may Allaah be pleased with him, when he was entrusted to defend the our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Lampoon them (i.e. the pagans) and Gabriel, may Allah exalt his mention, is with you." 

Amongst the poetry of Hassaan, may Allaah be pleased with him, is as follows: 

My father, mother and my honor is for the honor of Muhammad a protection from you.

Defending and protecting the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, his household, and his companions are actually honor and dignity that everyone has to work for. It is also obligatory upon the one who is well-versed to warn against those who attack Sunnah and its adherents, disclosing them for people so that their allegations and poisons may not reach them, and warn people against them and their writings. We have to be sure that Allah, The Almighty, supports, preserve, and protect those who support religion and Messengers, may Allah exalt their mention. Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {…And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.} [Quran 22: 40]

Allah, The Almighty, also Says (what means): {Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand -} [Quran 40: 51]

"When Allah, The Almighty, speaks about those who support Allah, The Almighty, and His Messengers, may Allah exalt their mention, in the Unseen, He comments on this by explaining the meaning of their support to Allah, The Almighty, and His Messengers as it is a support for His approach and call. As for Allah, The Almighty, He does not need any support from them for He, The Exlated, is Powerful and Exalted in Might."

Amongst the prerequisites of supporting religion and defending Islam is defending the Muslims who follow His religion in all places of weak and those who strive in the Cause of Allah, The Almighty, supporting them with money, souls, writing, and equipments until the different ways of support and empowerment of Muslims in this earth become perfect. Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.} [Quran 21: 105]

Amongst the others signs and requirements of love is to glorify the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, alive and dead, regard highly his command in ourselves, giving due respect to his prophetic words and dignity, submitting ourselves humbly to his commands and prohibitions and supporting it by our hearts and actions as Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect the Prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon.} [Quran 48: 8-9] 

Also, the sings of love includes having Gheerah (i.e. protective jealousy) about the inviolable matters of Allah, The Almighty, and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. Actually, little amount of Gheerah expiates the deception of falsehood and its power. Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {…As for the foam, it vanishes, [being] cast off; but as for that which benefits the people, it remains on the earth. Thus does Allah present examples…} [Quran 13: 17]

I ask Allah, The Almighty, to render such piece of writing beneficial for all people, its writer and reader, and totally sincere for His Sake. I also ask Him to gather us in Paradise with the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions… Ameen.

Peace and blessing of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his household and companions.
