Allah, The Almighty, has endowed our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, with the powerful characteristics, sublime attributes, and noble morals, the thing that encourages every Muslim individual to respect and venerate him highly with his heart, tongue and organs.
Ahl As-Sunnah wal Jamaa‘ah has a truthful precedence of honor in paying much attention for collecting all of his characteristics, showing his virtues, and praising his noble traits. There is no book of the books of Sunnah such as As-Sihaah, As-Sunnah and the like of the specialized book unless it touched upon his sublime traits. Also, there are independent books dedicated wholly to speak about the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his biography.
Allah, The Almighty, has chosen for His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the name of Muhammad that comprises both praise and commendation.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is praised by Allah, The Almighty, His angels, his fellow Messengers, may Allah exalt their mention, and all of the people of the earth, even if some of them disbelieved. This is why his characteristics are praised by anyone who has a mind, even if he rejected the fact out of arrogance and denial. Thus, he, peace and blessings be upon him, was truthful when he described himself saying: " I am the master of the sons of Aadam on the Day of Resurrection, without boasting (i.e. I am not saying this with arrogance); I will be the first to be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection; I am the first to seek permission to intercede and the first to intercede."
Moreover, Allah, The Almighty, sent him as a relief for the lost humanity in the darkness of Shirk (i.e. polytheism), ignorance, and superstitions. With him, peace and blessings be upon him, Allah, The Almighty, removed darkness (of disbelief), alleviated sorrows and reformed the nation. He, peace and blessings be upon him, became the absolute leader regarding guidance for the first and last generations of the children of Adam.
Through the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, Allah, The Almighty, guided people and dispelled misguidance, taught them and dispelled ignorance, caused to open blind eyes, deaf ears and hardened hearts, and through him all increased the number of the monotheists after they were few, honored them after their humiliation and made them self-sufficient after they were in want.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told the people about their Lord and the One Who deserves their worship in the best way that their knowledge powers can reach. He, peace and blessings be upon him, left his nation in no need in this regard for those who are before or those who are after him. Rather, he, peace and blessings be upon him, made them sufficient and rich of all knowledge about this issue and made them in no need for anyone to speak in this regard. Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): {And is it not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Indeed in that is a mercy and reminder for a people who believe.} [Quran 29: 51]
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also told them about the way that leads to their Lord, His Pleasure, and the House of His honor. He, peace and blessings be upon him, left no good thing unless he enjoined it nor bad thing unless he prohibited.
