Praise be to Allah and may the peace of Allah and His blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family members and lovers.

Thereafter, in this episode we are going to mention the rest of the fundamentals of Da`wah.

4 – Purity of the Means of Da`wah from illegitimacy:

The elements of Da`wah that guarantee the safety of Da`wah and ensure its success must be legitimate and valid, therefore, no Da`wah should be conveyed through singing, playing the music, lying, false method, backbiting, gossiping or other sins, likewise, no Da`wah should be carried out through illegal money which has been obtained by theft, bribery, fraud, or any other financial corruptions. That is why; the Muslim scholars have instituted a jurisprudential principle that says: “The end does not justify the means” as we will elucidate it by the will of Allah.

5 - Starting with the most important descending to the less important:

Understanding the priorities of Da’wah is among the basic elements of the calling to Allah Almighty, which means to do the most important first then the less important. And no subject having less importance should be given priority over the most important. The Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) had adopted this method and designed for his companion Mu`adh (may Allah be pleased with him) when he commanded him to  start  with teaching the people  the belief and Islamic monotheism, which are among the priorities of Islam, rather belief is its prerequisite. Afterwards, the Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) advised him to move forward, beginning from the most important to the important ones which are represented in the obligatory worships and rituals, as the Prophet (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned in his commandment: “If they obeyed you then inform them that Allah has enjoined upon them five prayers every day and night, and if they obeyed you then inform them that Allah has enjoined upon them charity that is taken from their rich and given to their poor, and if they obeyed you then be careful, and do not take the best of their properties (as payment of Zakat) , and fear the oppressed person’s curse as there is no veil between their curse and Allah.”

6 - Proper Planning for Da`wah:

Working in the field of Da`wah needs -like any other missions- proper planning before taking any practical steps and this was the method of the Prophet (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) in his theoretical and practical life. It is noteworthy that he (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) chose Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) as a journey companion during his migration to Al Madinah. And he emigrated secretly taking the coastal way also hid for a while in the cave of Ath-Thawr as well as he checked the news of Quraysh until arrived to Al Madinah protecting his religion and life. Undoubtedly, the Prophet of Allah (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) had planned previously for this migration, this event never was something spontaneous that happened suddenly without any pre-planning or thinking.

7 – Accountability and Evaluation:

This means that there should be permanent observation for the work of Da`wah from various aspects, such as; people, tools and methods and the nature of this work and its quality should be evaluated frequently. Also assessment of the weaknesses and shortcomings in Da’wah should be conducted regularly to make amendments and add improvements. Accountability and evaluation includes performing assessments time to time and making comparison between the past and the present of Da`wah activities to benefit from the mistakes of the past to avoid them in future and to lessen their effects.
