Setting the Goal:

Praise be to Allah and may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon His Messenger Muhammad, his family members, his companions and his lovers.

Thereafter, in this episode we will shed light on defining the vision and setting the goal.

Forward: (Value of any religious call and importance of all sorts of preaching lies in the goal that is intended to be achieved or to be gained by the call or by the preaching, as far as the aim is fixed and the vision is clear, the action would be right and the work would be balanced also the fruit would be matured. The goal of Da`wah is to gain the pleasure of Allah Almighty and to achieve the obedience of Allah on the earth and to build the universe through the preaching).

Setting the Goal:

The identification of the target of any action done by the human being is the first step to successful planning, because the type of the study leading to the goal and the sort of the means that must  be used to reach the target depends upon the identification of the target. Those who are working without identifying their goals are like the person who is traveling in the desert without any guide or leader who can guide and show him the right path. Undoubtedly, such person will continue to walk until he would be tired and he will continue his journey until his stamina would be exhausted and he will lose his balance.  Allah (Glory be to Him) has informed us that when He wanted to create Adam (peace be upon him) and fixed for us the purpose of his creation, as He addressed the angels and said: “Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth."  [Surat Al Baqarah: 30]. And He (Glory be to Him) said: “And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).” [Surat Az-Zariya’t: 56], and then Allah (Glory be to Him) has explained the means leading to that goal through Shari`ah, which was legislated by Him for His slaves, also He (Glory be to Him) has elucidated the goal of appointing the Messengers, as He said: “ And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We revealed to him (saying): Lâ ilâha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allâh)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)." [Surat Al Anbiya’:25]. Then Allah (Glory be to Him) has demonstrated the goal through both; logic and divine evidences. (1)

Thus, Islam has taught us to define the goal and then to decide the means leading to achieve that goal.

Furthermore, by the will of Allah we will start in the following episode explanation of the objectives of Da`wah.

May the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family members and his all companions.
