The Statement of Jaabir: (that a man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, ...) the Statement - which is inferred by in the statement of Al-Baar mentioned earlier – it has according to Jaabir ways:
The first: Zuhair, according to Abu Az-Zubair, according to him with similar wording. Narrated by Muslim (1), Abu Dawood (2), Ibn Al-Ja'd (3), Ahmad (4), Al-Bayhaqi (5), Al-Baghawi (6), all of them by way of Zuhair, by him.
The second: Sa’eed bin Hassan according to ‘Urwah bin ‘Ayadh, according to him with the wording: "I have a slave-girl of mine, and I practice withdrawal with her. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: «that will not prevent something Allah intended». He said: the man came and said: O Messenger of Allah, the slave-girl I had mentioned to you, is pregnant. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: «I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger».
Narrated by Muslim (7) – the wording is his -, Ibn Mubarak (8), An-Nisa’ee in – Al-Kubra – (9) and Al-Bayhaqi (10), all of them by way of Saeed bin Hassan, with him.
The third: Al-A’mash, according to Salem bin Abu Al-Ja'd according to him, with similar wording, and its end: « nothing is decreed for a soul but will come to pass». Narrated by Ibn Majah (11) - and the wording is his - Abdul Razzaq (12), Sa’eed bin Mansour (13), Ibn Abu Shaybah (14 ), Ahmad (15), At-Tahhawi (16) and Ibn Hibbaan (17), all of them through ways according to Al-A’mash, by him.
Al-Bousairi said: "This attribution (Isnad) is authentic and the men in its chain of narration are trusted" (18). It is as he said, and Al-A’mash even if it were Mudallis, however Mansour bin Al-Mu’tamir followed up after him with Abdul Razzaaq and Ahmad.
This is concerning the wording mentioned by Dr. Al-Baar. As to the wording after that, which is mentioned by Dr. Sa’eed Mahmoud Yan, it is another way according to Jaabir as well, namely:
The fourth: Mu’ammar, according toYahya bin Abu Katheer according to Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Thawbaan, according to him, he said: "We said: O Messenger of Allah, we used to practice withdrawal, the Jews claimed it to be the little one buried alive. He said: «the Jews have lied; if Allah wanted to create it [he would not] (19) prevent it».
Narrated by At-Tirmidhi (20), and did not talk about it, and the wording is his, and An-Nisa’ee in- the deed of the day and eve - (21), both of them by way of Mu’ammar according to Yahya bin Abu Katheer according to Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Thawbaan, according to him.
An-Nisa’ee pointed to the divergence in it withYahya bin Abu Katheer, and narrated it himself (22) and Abu Dawood (23), Ibn Tahmaan (24), Ahmad (25), Ibn Abu ‘Aasim (26), At-Tahhawi (27) and Al-Bayhaqi (28) , all of them by many ways according to Yahya bin AbuKatheer according to Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Thawbaan, according to Rifa’ah, according to Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, with similar wording. Abu Hatem gave this way preponderance (29).
And Rifa’ah - and it is said: Abu Rifa’ah, and it is said: Abu Motee’ - bin ‘Awf Al-Ansari, (accepted) (30), and has been followed up.
Mousa bin Wardan followed up after him, according to Abu Sa'eed. Narrated by Al-Bazzaar - abridged - (31), and At-Tahhawi (32), both by way Ayyash bin ‘Oqbah Al-Hadrami, according to him, by him, abridged with Al-Bazzaar, and the wording of At-Tahhaawi: «...even if you have intercourse with her, it will only be as is ordained (by Divine Will) ». And Ayyash is truthful (33).
Abu-‘Aamer disagreed with them: Saleh bin Rustam Alkhazzaz, so he narrated it according toYahya bin Abu Katheer, according to Abu Salamah, according to Abu Hurayrah with similar wording. Narrated by Al-Bazzaar (34) and Ibn Abu ‘Aasim (35), and An-Nisa’ee in – Al-Kubra –(36) and Abu Ya’la (37) all of them by ways from Al-Mu’tamir bin Suleiman, according to him, by him. And this Saalih bin Rustam, although sincere, Al-Haafidh described him as (of many errors) (38), so perhaps this is of his mistake, and the balancing of Abu Haatim preceded the way of Abu Rifa’ah.
