Episode 4: Birth Control's extent of usefulness (2-4)

The Hadeeth of Jabir that (a man came to the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him....) this wording of hadeeth is used as evidence in the words of Dr. Al-Bar mentioned previously. It is reported by Muslim(1).
Imam Muslim(2) reported the hadeeth of Jabir with the wording: I have a slave-girl and I practice 'azl with her, whereupon Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This cannot prevent that which Allah has decreed. The person then came (after some time) and said: O Messenger of Allah, the slave-girl about whom I talked to you has conceived, whereupon Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger.
This is regarding the wording of the hadeeth mentioned by Dr. Al-Bar.
As for the wording after it (mentioned by Dr. Saeed Mahmoud Jaan), it's also narrated by way of Jabir also:
We said: O Messenger of Allah, we were practicing 'azl and Jews were claiming that it is minor infanticide. He said: "The Jews have lied; if Allah wanted to create it [it wouldn't](3) prevent it".
Al-Tirmidhi(4) reports this hadeeth and doesn't speak against it (it's grading), and the wording is as mentioned by him. It's also reported by Al-Nasa'i in 'Amal al-Yawm wa Al-Laylah (Actions of the Day and Night)(5)
Abu Hatim(6) held the stronger view that it's the hadeeth of Abi Sa'eed Al-Khudri. And Al-Nasa'i pointed to the difference regarding so.
