- The Arabic word Al-Khuluq singular form of Al-Akhlaq (the ethic) sometimes, denotes the way of behavior with people, as the Prophet (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Indeed, you can not afford to help the people with your wealth, so you should help them with smile of the face and good manner.” (1)

Furthermore, the Prophet (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If someone whom you are pleased with his religiousness and (Khuluqahu) his character comes to you (seeking your daughter in marriage), then marry him (to her).” (2)

Mu`adh(3) ibn Jabal(may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the last advice the Messenger of Allah(may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him), gave to him when he put his foot in the stirrup was that he said: “Make your manner good for the people, O Mu`adh ibn Jabal!” (4)

Abu Hurayrah( 5 ),  (may Allah be pleased with him) reported  that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the thing that causes people to enter Paradise most, thereupon he said: “Fearing Allah and the good manner.” (6)

Ibn Al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) says: “The Prophet (may the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned fearing Allah and good manners together, because fear of Allah corrects whatever is between a person and his Lord, and good manner corrects whatever is between him and the creation of Allah. Moral Values of Islam:

“Values” denote some inherent qualities in the nature of the words, deeds and things, evaluated by the instinct, mind and Shari`ah.

While the “moral values” denote the behavioral traits suggested by the instinct, mind and Shari`ah due to their good effects.

Therefore, the values are qualities and meanings that vary according to their related principles.

The issue of moral values is a subject of values that deals and explains the qualities of soul and its natures; however, behavior is the external and practical aspect or it is the real outcome of the qualities of the soul and its disposition.

So the ethical values are the behavioral traits.

The determination of ethical values depends on the dictation of the instinct, mind and Shari`ah, as we will explain by the Grace of Allah in this research.

Dieting will be the nastiest word inside the world of, well, dieting.

I won't pry them out of the hands of a preschooler with the park.
Every time I have tried to go "all in" at the same time, I turn out losing, whether in Vegas or wanting to
stay away from my neighbors BBQ.
