Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The house in which remembrance of Allah is made and the house in which Allah is not remembered are like the living and the dead." (1)
Lessons gained from the Hadith:
1- Exhortation to mention Allah (Glory be to Him) in one's house and do it frequently as possible.
2- Of the types of Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) which are recited in houses are: Salah, reciting and listening to the Qur'an, religious lessons and lectures, reading the books of knowledge, glorifying, praising Allah, and all types of Dhikr.
