Also, among the great invocations recommended for a Muslim to say one hundred times every morning. Not because it is specific only for the morning, but because it is more virtuous to do so in the morning. But rather, doing so early in the morning is better, due to what is therein of good, and attains his good deeds from the beginning of the morning. Also, it is a protection from the devil from the beginning of the day, that which was authenticated in the two Sahihs, from the Statement of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, according to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: " Whoever says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.’ one hundred times, will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, one hundred sins will be wiped out from his accounts, it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than him." Also, whoever says, "Glorified is Allah and to Him belong all praises", one hundred times a day, will be forgiven for all his sins, even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.
This stresses the significance of the declaration of monotheism "there is no god but Allah", which is absolutely the most honorable of words. It is the best of what the Prophets have said. For its sake, the heavens and earth were established, creatures were created. Those that follow it will always be the people of happiness and success, both in this life and the next. Thus, it is befitting for a Muslim to hold great his appreciation for it, and in the hands of Allah alone success and guidance.
