When I typeset Hadiths in sections, chapters, and branches —in the way previously explained— I found them many in number and the book itself is huge and the one who seeks a Hadith should search all chapters and sections to find the requested Hadith. When that was difficult for Hadith seekers, I arranged the names of chapters alphabetically to make it easy for the seeker to find the Hadith. I did not consider the original letter only but also I considered the first letter of the word whether it is original or superfluous, and I did not omit from the words but the definite articles "Al". So, I mentioned the book of faith and Islam (Iman and Islam), the book of Ila' (a husband's oath not to have a sexual intercourse with his wife for a certain period), and the book of vessels (Aniyah) under the letter "Hamzah" which is an original letter.

I also listed the book of I`tisam (holding firm), which should be listed under the letter "`Ayn" and the book of cultivating barren lands (Ihya’ Al Mawat) under the letter "Ha'".

Likewise, I did with the rest of chapters to facilitate search for the knowledge seekers because the books of Hadiths are read by the elites as well as the public, and those who know the wordings and those who do not.

So, if I force ordinary people to differentiate between the original letter and the superfluous, it will become hard for them, but it is easy for them to know the letter by which the word starts without distinguishing between the original and the superfluous.

Then I found some chapters that contain other branches which do not have the same letter such as the book of Jihad which is listed under the letter "Jeem" but it has some branches that should not be separated such as: Booties, gains, booty theft, gifts, one-fifth, and martyrdom; each one of these should be listed under its proper letter. So, if I had mentioned them in their proper letters, I would have scattered the book of Jihad and deviated from the course, therefore I listed them under the book of Jihad under the letter "Jeem".

At the end of each chapter I made an index to refer to chapters that are not found in their proper letters. For example, at the end of letter "Ghayn," I mentioned that "Ghana'im [booties]" and "Ghulul [booty theft]" are listed under the book of Jihad [Letter Jeem], and at the end of letter "Fa'," I mentioned that the chapter of "Fay' [gains]" is listed under the book of Jihad under letter "Jeem," and so I did with the rest of letters.

Therefore, if you want to search for a Hadith of this type, search for it under its letter. If you find it, it is good, but if you do not find it in its position, you will find a clue at the end of the letter to guide you to the missed chapter. When you leaf through the book, you will find clues to the usage of the book.
