Details
Hits: 2021
If every merchant has his certain trade, the companion of the Noble Quran is behind all types of profitable trade. That is because the Noble Quran will lead him to Paradise, protect him from the Hellfire and defend him before the Lord of the worlds and raise him to high ranks.
In this regard, Imam Ahmad and Ad-Daarimi reported with a Hasan Isnaad (chain of transmission) from ‘Abdullah ibn Buraydah from his father who said: "I was sitting with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and heard him
saying: "Learn Soorat Al-Baqarah for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it. He (i.e. the narrator) added: "He, peace and blessings be upon him, kept silent for a while and then said, Learn Surat Al-Baqarah and Al ‘Imran because they are two lights and they shade their people on the Day of Resurrection, just as two clouds, two spaces of shade or two lines of (flying) birds. The Quran will meet its companion in the shape of a pale-faced man on the Day of Resurrection when his grave is opened. The Quran will ask him, 'Do you know me' The man will say, 'I do not know you.' The Quran will say, 'I am your companion, the Quran, which has brought you thirst during the heat and made you stay up during the night. Every merchant has his certain trade. But, this Day, you are behind all types of trade.' Kingship will then be given to him in his right hand, eternal life in his left hand and the crown of grace will be placed on his head. His parents will also be granted two garments that the people of this life could never afford. They will say, 'Why were we granted these garments' It will be said, 'Because your son was carrying the Quran.' It will be said (to the reader of the Quran): Read and ascend through the levels of Paradise.' He will go on ascending as long as he recites, whether reciting slowly or quickly.'' (1).
It was reported that Abu Saalih said: "I heard Abu Hurairah, may Allaah be pleased with him, saying: "Recite Quran for it will be the best intercessor on the Day of Resurrection for it will say: 'O Lord! Adorn him with the garment of nobility! So he is adorned with the garment of nobility. Then it says: "O Lord! Give him a suit of nobility!' So he is given the suit of nobility. Then it says: "O Lord! Decorate him with the crown of nobility." So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says:
'O Lord, Be pleased with him for there is nothing greater than Your Pleasure." (2)
Imam Ash-Shaatibi, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said great words in this regard:
And the Book of Allah is the most trusted intercessor, and the most satisfying in meaning, the giver of reward along with great virtues,
And the best person you would enjoy sitting with, you will never get bored of its speech, And if you keep reciting it, it only increases in beauty, and when the young would be frightened by the darkness (of the grave) he will find in front of him the Quran, shining and smiling,
The grave will become a place of comfort for the recite, and he will be seen (by others) in the most respected of stations.
